The same pdf generated from InDesign or Illustrator can be 25 times smaller and contain smooth vector graphics and text.
A pdf document contains ascii text, bitmap images and vector graphics, the best arrangement for small file size and good quality.

The best way to place a building on a site model is to use a separate topo file.
Link a Revit building file with Revit topography
This will simplify editing and reduce the size of the file being worked on.
SketchUp massing can be imported into a third file and then linked to the Revit topography.
Don’t rename or move the linked files!

All Level 6 and above CCi Students can apply to become an Adobe Certified Associate in one or more Adobe software packages. Currently on offer are: Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash & Dreamweaver. Once certified your status lasts for three years and you are entitled to use the digital logos on your CVs, portfolios, websites etc.

Is there a list of software supported by Creative Skills?
We cover most of the Adobe Creative Cloud – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Flash and Lightroom, plus Autodesk architectural programs such as Revit and AutoCAD. We also support Sketchup, Avid Media Composer, Pro Tools and more. Not sure if we cover it? Just ask.
Is it just software skills?
No, we can help with a broader range of skills. Loaning a camera from the CCiLoanstore? There’s a good chance you may need to see us for camera training. Interested in Life Drawing or Facial Anatomy? We do that too!

This morning we’ve been taking MSc Digital media and BA Contemporary Fine Art on a journey through Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketchup, Artlantis and Flash.
We’ve been looking at creative workflows between all of these programs, creating complex shapes in Illustrator, extruding them in Sketchup, rendering in Artlantis, making and modifying selections in Photoshop before importing assets and documents into Flash to create animations and interactive media.
